Eye-ll be...

Busy day started with our usual weekly shop at a local supermarket and then on for coffee at Nichols - a plant nursery - and a browse around the newly opened pet shop within the facilities. 
A big bank of myriad styles of fish captured my attention and I had a lovely time "playing" with the available light in the tanks and the constant movement of the fish.  This googly eyed specimen took me by surprise; you only see the eyes head on.  Profile does not give a hint of where the eyes are actually placed. 
I love watching fish but had to get home in order to meet an insurance assessor and a plumber due at 1pm to look at the leaking hot water cylinder and get measured up for a new tank. 
As always these moments in life are never simple and we are looking a perhaps having to replace floor boards and flooring.  Presently we have cork tiles down but several have started lifting so will have to be replaced. 
Of course the insurance payout will not cover all the expenses so we will just have to go with the flow and see what turns up!!  Mother very jumpy about how much it is all going to cost.
