Trumpets and Buds

Before Christmas mum gave me some marigold seedlings which are now looking very pretty with their different shades of colour and form. I quite like this one with its tiny buds surrounded by little trumpets as the petals unfurl.

The clouds have been rolling through, not a lot of sun but a great washing day especially for towels. After a wander round the garden I came in looking like a scarecrow - just a tad windy!
