The green lung

The area of Castle Ehrenstein and the Crane Weijergang be in our city Kerkrade also called the Green lung.
It is an excellent walking starting at the castle and extends along the only reservoir of the Netherlands. You can go hiking and enjoy flora and fauna. The blue kingfisher has his habitat.
What you see on the photo's is perhaps 5% of the total area.
