On Bended Knee

There's a little Chapel just round the corner from us dedicated Notre Dame d'Agenouillade, our Lady of the Bended Knee. Legend has it that She made an imprint with her knee as prayed there, hence the name. 

I went out for some exercise this afternoon and called into the Chapel. It is very simple and very effective, so I said a little prayer for my bended knee to get better soon - and also for Jean Claude, my physio, who was so upset this morning as he took a call to say that his mother had just died.
