Orkney Trees!

There aren't many trees in Orkney, mainly because of the almost incessant wind, but I spotted these, bravely clinging on to the chimney stack above the shoe shop in Victoria Street, Kirkwall.

Into the hospital this morning to get a new splint put on my wrist, followed by another afternoon of battling with ground cover fabric, barrowing and spreading chippings!
