Looking toward Clinton Lake

This was good in color but mono gives more detail in the trees for some reason. Clinton Lake (which we shall be seeing more of) is an artificial, dammed water reservoir. All lakes in Kansas are artificial ( who would have rhought it!). We get our water from here and from the river (the Kaw).

We went out this afternoon and let Pete have a run (not that he does so much running at 11+) in the area set aside for dogs. A nice walk for humans too.
