The way to a woman's heart ....

Up for a 740am start at work, an enticing smell greeted me as I wandered into the kitchen.  Ruth had been baking last night, chocolate cake!  Who needs GCSEs when you can make a good cake?  One for the boyfriend and his family whom she is away visiting .... and one for us :-)  Inspired by my friend intothewildman  who was also up early, I thought I'd share it with you.

Flowers or Chocolate?  I find both work well ..... although dashing home from work (on time for once) to have lunch with Jacinta before  she went out this afternoon was probably the best move :-)

Sadly I am back in work later so no romantic candlelit meal tonight .... maybe on March 14th ;-)
