shades of bluish grey

A morning trip to St Mary's Lighthouse to walk off the croissant calories. The car thermometer recorded the outside temperature as 5 deg C but it felt like minus 5. 

The photo is very much as seen ......... grey. I'd thought about getting some close ups of the lighthouse today but the sea was over the causeway. No option other than the much photographed view from the prom. 

We enjoyed watching a large number of Sanderling on the beach. They walked out as the tide went out, then as soon as the next wave came in they ran back to shore.
