Old Roman Bridge

On the east side of Strathclyde Park the remains of Bothwellhaugh Roman Fort and a Roman bath house can be seen.

Nearby the arched Roman bridge crosses the South Calder.

The site of the Battle of Bothwell Bridge (1679) is less than a mile to the north.
