A few shades of grey
Unusually for a Saturday Cathleen and I were in Edinburgh this morning where the fog was thick. These are the trees opposite the flat in Royal Terrace , through which I can usually see the Forth (see this blip for an idea of the view from a bit further along the street).
We drove back through to the west before lunchtime and as we got closer and closer to Argyll visibility slowly improved.
There was even sun on the horizon as the ferry across the Clyde arrived at Dunoon.
