Whitley Court

Visited Whitley Court with my nieces and sister-in-law this afternoon. Didn't have much time as it shut at 4pm, but will definitely be coming back - fascinating place, which must have been incredibly grand back in the day. Sadly, it went up in flames in around 1937 and was never rebuilt so is still a ruin.

Will definitely be coming back though - didn't get to see all of it, missed out on the church and most of the grounds. A summer visit is in order I think!
