What you may ask....

is a kettle doing on my chair. The reason is that currently I have an overnight guest.......Flash as J is away in Cambridge looking after her mother. Now as Flash has the free run of J's house overnight and does occasionally sleep on her bed so I'm told. Now as I don't have/want dogs upstairs I put things on the furniture and block off the stairs - hence the kettle. Luce of course would not do anything so terrible! (Actually she can't as she's in her cage overnight...)
The kettle is an antique one that I inherited from my mother and I'm afraid I don't do it proper justice by cleaning it very often!
A reasonable day with the weather not too bad and 2 Six Nations matches to watch. Currently it's 57 minutes into the Ireland v France match and Ireland are in the lead - I really hope it stays that way.
