Reflections of Love

Now I've never been one for 'special' days, excluding birthdays and Christmas of course, but those others, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day (though that maybe an exception in my case) and of course Valentine's Day which was accurately described by Helena (woodpeckers) as a feast of advanced capitalism.  If we have to have a special day to appreciate our mothers or our loved ones then the world is a sadder place

I did receive a homemade card from Ann yesterday, hand written on the back of a map of the Battle of Evesham she had printed for our foray yesterday; more thoughtful and precious than a £3 Clinton's card. She also received two cards, one from Digby, the Dogs Trust doggie she sponsors, and one prepared on the computer by Dylan who was jealous.

So here's the love of my life, a cup of coffee, no sorry, Ann sitting in Presto's window this morning with reflections from Henley Street, home of the Bard.

In other news: I met Roz for a pint of Abbot in the Garrick this afternoon. The place was full of couples and rugby fans (or both).
