My Coordinates

An early bird

At the river again this morning and a chilly one as well, just over 40 degrees F.  I spotted this female Red-naped Sapsucker bounding around a stand of Cottonwood trees.  Out of several shots I had one in focus as this little one obviously has already had her morning coffee.  I had to confirm the species with the local bird group.  I found that it's not a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.... :o/
