Half and half

A grand day to climb up, into and through the murk. We emerged into sun and warmth, half of the mountain obscured in cloud, half in the sun.

We sat on the summit (not yet visible) and looked at Mt Cook and Mt D'archiac.

It was grand, it was beautiful and I was glad to be on the summit of Mt Somers.
