The Dove from Above

Up early (5am) loaded up the car and hit the road just after 6. We had a clear run up to Carlisle, stopping briefly at Wetherby to buy breakfast and arrived at David's parents at 10.30.

D and I had a walk into Brampton to pick up provisions then after lunch we all drove up to Gretna. After a bit of shopping in the shopping outlet we had a look at The Marriage Room where there were a succession of people tying the knot.
This evening we went over to David's sister's house for dinner. D and Tom had an animated discussion about politics and then we played games and drank lots.
A fun day.
