To Cash In

I have walked past this collecting box many times and never paid it a great deal of attention.  The box itself is clearly quite old (possibly dating from the 1850's)  but there is a new padlock fitted.  

I had to sneak this photo whilst no-one was looking in case it was considered that I was casing the joint.

Mind you,  the presence of the new lock and the appearance of some damage suggests that some of my former clients might have had a crack at it in the past....
