Kingfisher

....at last! One bird I have always wanted to see and photograph is a Kingfisher. On our way to Mum's early this morning we called in at a RSPB nature reserve and waited in a hide . Low and behold a kingfisher was sitting quite a distance away but it really made our day to see it with the sun shining on it.. It flew along the river in front of us then perched in a tree. Rubbish photos , I know, but I just want to record the day I actually saw my first Kingfisher!
