Shelter

These sparrows and juncos are huddling in the kiwi vine on the side of the porch, every so often they flit to the bird feeder for a bite, then back to the shelter.  It's been snowing steadily all day and gusty winds started in the evening.  The snow is drifted across the driveway, at least 2 feet in some places.  The temperature is supposed to keep going down, there are all kinds of wind chill advisories out for tomorrow into Monday.  Hideous.

On the bright side, we had dinner with friends and their children tonight and it was lots of fun.  Dinner, games, and a lot of laughing.
