Shrimps at the Gate

Having dropped off Finlay at Roots Hall so that he could watch Southend v Accrington Stanley, I noticed this strange gate decoration in the entrance to the ground.  Southend are nicknamed "The Shrimpers" ..... I assume these pieces of tortured metal are shrimps.
