Old Burial Tombs

We went exploring and found these ancient burial caves in the rock face on the island!! The explanation was just 'prehistoric tombs' but the history of Malta goes back more ancient than the pyramids!! We went inside them and they led to more small caves further inside like catacombs!!
I have not commented while I am away but will back blip spaces and get back into it when I am home again! I am enjoying my break in beautiful sunshine.
