Dunstanburgh Castle

Spending a few days in Northumberland, for the February half term break. Today, according to the weather forecast, was to be the best of the three days we were here, so we headed to the coast.

It was glorious! Spent an hour or so wandering up from Craster to the castle, pottering around the rocks taking photos of the sheep and the birds, as well as the landscape. Having been complaining of having to go for a walk, as usual, Iain decided on a sudden burst of energy and ran up to the castle.

By the time we got back to Craster we had built up an appetite to enjoy a great pub lunch in the Jolly Fisherman.

There's a few more photos of today on my Flickr album, if you want to have a wee look.

This might be the entry for the weekly blip challenge of 'time passing', illustrated partly by the castle that has stood there for 700 years, and partly for remembering the last time we were here, when Iain was a lot smaller! It's also my 730th blip, how time flies!
