A stick, a muddy puddle and a sunny day
He will tell you that our walk on the hill was "OK" but he had a fabulous time, especially when he and a Labrador found each other for extensive stick throwing and fetching.
Since I have re-leant how to walk I have stuck to flat, level, man-made surfaces - none of this wild and crazy grass stuff. I thought it was about time to try it out though so recruited the companion services of Kardimomma (ex Icelandic Mountain Rescue) and off we went. It was great. Turns our little slopey bits worry me a bit but there werent many of them and it was a great couple of hours.
Now home with an extra child acquired for the night for the sticky pork belly buns and braised beef ribs for dinner that I am making from a magazine. I am looking forward to them hugely. Daisy said "great, my favourite type of food". I will leave you to picture her tone.....
