Pemberley Moods

Or rather Lyme Park. We went for a walk around the vast estate grounds starting from Poynton. 

This is the setting for both the famous Mr Darcy wet-shirted scene in the TV adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and more recently was also used for The Village.

You can just see the back of the famous house through the trees. We're walking down from Cage Hill. There's a huge building at the top once used as a hunting tower and temporary prison for poachers.
