Surprise snowdrops

My ancient aunt moved house in December and has no idea what will come up in her garden. We had identified some daffodils coming up along the fence, and some rhubarb, but suddenly yesterday she discovered a few snowdrops pushing through the newly-laid turf. Such delicate blooms, but with  the strength to push through iron-hard ground or even asphalt paths.
