Wainwright Blipmeet

Last time we were up in Keswick we tried to climb Barf but got lost and had to retreat before we reached the top.

Today our daughter Ali (aka MadameJeune) and Jane (aka Technophobe) did it again without getting lost this time.  This picture shows Jane and Ali at the top of Barf with Skiddaw in the background.  In the foreground is Ali's dog Bess (who is not a blipper).

Barf is a lovely fell and we continued on to do Lords Seat and Broom Fell, a total of three new Wainwrights.  The ascent from Powter How was steep but interesting and we descended through Whinlatter Forest.
