An Impromptu Meet

Short of a blip, and with the afternoon light slipping away, I stopped off at the Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve to check out the bird hide by the feeding station.

It was a pleasant surprise to be joined by my cousin Sheelagh (Freyjad) for an impromptu mini blipmeet. 

Although it was late in the afternoon, we saw a number of birds including a pair of bullfinches, a robin, long-tailed tit and blue tits.

Great news for Bradford City this afternoon with their win over Sunderland in the FA Cup.
