No entry

This afternoon we had a walk to Threave Castle. In summer,  you can ring a bell and a little boat  arrives to ferry you across the river. Although the sun was shining brightly today and quite a few people were visiting,  the tourist season had not yet started and the boat was at anchor. Sarah and Matt went across to the island using the stepping stones and Matt got very wet feet. Then we couldn't find a teashop that was open after  4 o'clock. Still,  a good time was had by all.
