Austwick snowdrops

Today I had an adventure!
I drove to an area of the country that I have never explored before....to have a blip meet with https://www.blipfoto.com/lovelupins17

We met in a lovely little place near Settle, called Austwick, where they have a very lovely boutique hotel and in their gardens, a woodland walk, with drifts of snowdrops through the woods! Our intention being snowdrop photography :-)

We spent an couple of hours walking in the woods; amazing how many different types of snowdrops there are, who knew! Upright ones, droopy headed ones, frilly ones, all so pretty!

Afterwards we went into the hotel's cosy dining room, where we had tea and a lucious scone with butter and blackcurrant jam, both made by the guys that own the hotel!

We were on the border of sunshine, but it did break through once or twice which was a bonus and made it feel,positively spring like:-)
