Different kinds of lighting...
I had a lovely day out at Stanage Edge and Burbage moor. Stanage Edge is a remarkable gritstone escarpment that stretches for seven or eight miles. There are supposed to be old millstones scattered around the base, but I didn't find any.
It was rather cold up on the ridge itself, and despite the brisk wind, the fog never really lifted - it just moved around a lot. The frustrating thing was that it was obvious that there were blue skies above...
A little further on at Burbage, things were much the same and this blip sums it up perfectly: It looks towards Higger Tor, which is hidden in the mist. A few other shots can be seen here.
The weather forecast for tomorrow is not good, so I will probably head into Sheffield for the morning at least.
