Afternoon Light.

Usual Sunday morning lie in.   After lunch into town to drop off some papers on a colleague.

On the way home we noticed how "thick" the air was becoming, so decided to head for a suitable vantage point on the old Keswick road.

I took a number of shots but his is the one I have chosen.  I like the layers and the way the trees stand out against the mistiness of the atmosphere.  The white patches are the remains of snow drifts still in the sheltered shaded parts.
