Fun at the park

Another nice day. A short nap but woke cheerful so we headed to the park in the afternoon. It's been mild and bright and almost sunny and for once everything was dry! Here's Matthew pushing mummy round and round on the roundabout. Other highlights included us building sandcastles for him to knock down (must consider getting an actual bucket and spade) and wandering over to see the ducks.

Matthew's starting to out together sentences of two and sometimes three words at a time, getting better at saying please (so cute we almost always say yes - must watch out for that!) and also adorably asking for two every time we say he can have one of something :)

Really really could do with him not kicking his blankets off and waking up cold so often overnight and doubly do without the 6 am starts. I guess we should count ourselves lucky to have been used to 7 am but even so we're all shattered at the moment.
