Tiny bubbles..

In one of our riverside hotels they serve excellent German beer which I like to take outside, where I marvel at the industrial rate of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass, making the head on the beer even bigger, like whipped ice cream. I watch the little rivulets of water coming down the side of the glass, and quietly sigh. Then I drink it.
