New Life
Today was a sunny day!
The hydrangea in our front yard has started to sprout new leaves. The shrub amazes me every year. After enduring the cold conditions of winter, the shrub always looks dead. Dry branches and clusters of dead flowers adorn the leafless-looking shrub. Yet, when the days turn warmer, tiny green leaves begin to poke out along the length of spiritless branches. The leaves always look so vibrant. I think to myself, "Ah... So there is hope after all." :)
