Kingfisher

I think I missed him fishing and only got him in the tree. I had spotted a shag and was tracking it. I turned to look on the other side of the peninsula I was standing on and heard a plop behind me, saw a circle of water and the kingfisher in the tree across the channel. No shag ever appeared so it had to be the kingfisher. Wouldn't it rock you.
Overcast and cool this morning at the estuary.
The kingfisher has a "soft" look, some would say blurred but at least I got one. Maybe next time it will be sharp.
