New Zealand Caspian Tern

Weather still horrible - I sat for an hour on the beach watching the birds and was glad to get back inside feeling rather perished !
The wind was strong -  even our resident male Caspian was battling to get any height - the sea was so choppy he would have had difficulty spotting
his prey I guess...must have been hungry as I watched from inside the house too as he spent a long time fishing.
