Windowsill Growth

Now is when the snow-filled days and the bitter winds and sub-sero temperatures  drain everyone's reserves. After half a foot of snow yesterday which blocks my driveway and it blowing like mad today in the too cold to step outdoors day I could find this sign of hope on the windowsill. On Feb 1st I took it's little picture and now on the 15th it has grown at least 18 inches. 
I think I shall give it a dose of fertilizer tomorrow while our next foot of snow arrives.
