When natural light is bursting at the seams of a photo and sunspots are unavoidable, my mind and circadian rhythms are completely at peace. But don't let the cascading light deceive you--the winds were picking up, the water was below freezing. 

When a photo can transport you back to a moment, and you forget the frigid temperatures and frozen fingers and just remember the light, well--that can make all the difference.
