Numpty Personified...

I am such a Numpty!   

This afternoon, as part of their Christmas pressie, David and I took my stepdad John and Norma for afternoon tea at a local hotel (it was very nice BTW) and I had planned to take a photo of the lovely spread of scones and cakes, but I was so engrossed in having a lovely time, I forgot!  

So you get this minging old leaf that I quickly snapped as we returned and the light was fading.

John and Norma came back and had dinner at ours and stayed over.  Alan was in full charm mode.   He really does adore Norma and she is totally smitten with him.   I think he definitely approves of her as a substitute Gran :-))
