What a grey day!

As Larry Grayson would have said if he'd been in Bath today!!

A very wet start to the day, but by lunchtime it had dried up enough to head into Bath to return some of my sale bargains. I decided I'd rather save the money for the next time I hit the road. After all, who needs a gorgeous black fur trim cape?!! Me!!! :(

This is Queen Street, one of Bath's atmospheric side streets, and a great shortcut for when the main street is heaving with half-term holiday makers! In trying to find some history for you about Queen Street, I came upon this article from the Bath Chronicle, where I found out that only a couple of weeks ago, Queen Street was transformed into a Victorian street for the filming of an episode of Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. I wish I'd known, there could have been some interesting blips to be had!!
