when the lights go on the blinds come down

This is the view from my living room window. The architecture around my new flat is fab. There are the sandstone tenements , but also little pop-up pieces of modernism like this splendid building directly opposite me, and  this right around the corner ( I promise to blip it clearly one day).

So the building is interesting, but at night I love it even more, as the row of windows go on and illuminate the patterned blinds. I'm glad I'm noticing these kind of things and enjoying them again. For too long the blinds have been down.
