Looking...

We are in the early stages of looking for a place to stay. Basically, we have a parking permit from the council for our current place. In December the council decided that we should never have had one because our building was built after the year 2000, never mind they've allowed us to have 3 in total in the last 2 years! So they revoked it.

To cut a long story short we have a permit until March and then have secured a private parking at additional cost until our lease is up in June. This cost isn't really feasible going forward and this space too could be pulled from under us so we are looking for somewhere that has the parking as part of the lease for our own piece of mind.

So we have a few months to find a new place. Doesn't stop me getting an early start on it though! These two were just way to expensive. I liked the idea of the flat on Byres Road directly above Waitrose, but alas too pricey, who would have thought!
