Wonderwall
One of the enduring attractions of the Lake District for me, is these copper coloured bracken hillsides criss-crossed by dry stone walls.
We were in charge of Bess the grand-dog today, always a bit of a responsibility. We walked up the very first bit of the Fairfield Horseshoe this afternoon where we knew there was some particularly good dry stone walling. The light was lovely in the early evening, this is High Sweden Copse just above Ambleside.
