Polesden Lacy

Today is the start of the February half term so the girls and I met up with the "Northgate girls", some current and ex colleagues and their children/grandchildren.
For this visit we headed to a National Trust property, Polesden Lacy. We didn't visit the stately home, just let our ragamuffin kids run around the grounds! I was in her element even with the older kids. She didn't show any fear or intrepidation and threw herself into the games with gusto. I felt very proud of her.
Our visit was curtailed by horrid rain so we came home to see J who has started his condensed hours so was at home following a bike ride.
