Monday: Abandoned Chair

Having not much else on today apart from desk bound stuff, I went for a walk at lunchtime.  Bizarrely, I am still seeing Christmas trees being thrown out.  Abandoned furniture also seems to make its way on to the roadside quite often.

Glorious weather today - spring might finally be in the air.

I have read quite a few James Bond books but out of sequence so I have started at the beginning and have just read 'Casino Royale'.  It was OK - although there isn't much of the derring-do we have come to expect from the films.  I mean, he only got out of the situation he was in because the SMERSH agent shot Bond's captor (sorry, have I just given something major away?).  And, of course, he is terribly sexist and arrogant.

We are watching good telly too.  We have just finished 'Happy Valley' and are now watching 'The Fall' - both excellent.
