Constructionarium Team 2015

Every year we take a group of construction students to the CITB base at Bircham Newton in Norfolk. Over a week the 2 teams will build scale models of the Ravenspurn Oil Platform and the Brewery Wharf Bridge. This may not sound particularly ambitious but if you look at the website you will see that it actually a huge project for people who have never done it before. In our endeavours we are hosted by Byrne Bros who send a team of experts and provide all the materials that we need. www.constructionarium.co.uk . 

Today the student leaders of the 2 teams had a meeting with Tony Backler from Byrne Bros to discuss initial strategy. You can't see Tony in this photo and you can only just see my colleague Adam Clemens (on the right) who is largely running the show at the Uni end of things. www.byrne-bros.co.uk
