Late sky

Taken from the A6 approaching Penrith. It was lovely to see a little of the last light across to the Lakes as I was driving home from Court Thorn tonight.

And with the sense of the seasons changing, I loved this poem that I came across this evening ....

Snowdrops - by J.B. Pick

Snowdrops are not innocent:
They fight for what they win.
Beauty's what comes out:
Blind energy goes in.

... read this strangely at the same time as listening to Beethoven's Late Quartets, written when he had become totally deaf and was relying solely on his inner ear ... his 'deaf energy'. Made me wonder about energy becoming manifest and its forms.
