Vet visit

Today I went to my avian vet Peter Bastiaansen with Tommy. As you know he has a weird growing pin feather and that is because the feather follicle. Peter studied the feather and the follicle at first and he saw that the follicle was somewhat swollen too and it looked like it was a bit infected. We both decided that Tommy needed a surgery to get rid off the feather AND the follicle. This feather never grows back anymore. My boy was so brave!
