Feis an iar thuath..

Scourie NW Feis. A music and gaelic class held during the school holidays. Today was day one, with plenty of classes in fiddle, whistle, drums, singing, and more.. The tutors always hold a ceilidh in the evning, with the final day of lessons tomorrow.. Tonight could have been attended better, but we had a few dances, and drinks. The bar took £87.00, so fairly quiet..

Been sorting out this Marquee for the village gala day. Have the money to purchase, just need to finalise the size.

Then went out on the croft digging ditches along the access track. The depth of soil is quite deep, I think where soil has washed down off the hill. Think my best option (during the summer) will be to dig out the track to make it more level..
