Today's Entertainment

Jan 5th as we were leaving the island last time, this tree fell over onto the beach.   The tree guy from Galiano promised to come over to buck it up and cut the broken limbs from the tree next to it.   Well when we came up this time of course he had not yet done that.  (It’s that “Island” thing …maybe they will, maybe not)   So today they came!   3 Men at work.   A big come-along helped get the main trunk off the beach so the rounds being cut are accessible.(for us to carry)  Many limbs came off the other tree.  The third guy in red (H) is “supervising” and thinking about the clean up job awaiting us… a huge pile of branches on the beach….  a beach fire will be in order….  Took this from the deck…we sure have a better view of the rocks off the beach now. (the grandkids won't be able to hide there...)  We like having the trees between us and the water so we’re a bit hidden…
